PCC & Senior Center

History of Povah

Built in 2007 as result of a generous donation from Ellie Povah spear-headed the development of this community resource.  The balance of the funds needed to complete the $1.3 million structure were secured through a general obligation bond approved by the voters of the Town of West Yellowstone.

The purpose of the building is to provide a gathering place to hold senior lunch and community activities.  Prior to the Povah Community Center, senior citizens gathered for lunch at the Bear’s Den Cinema.
