West Yellowstone is truly a four-season destination, with camping, hiking and fly-fishing in the warmer months and snowmobiling and Nordic skiing when the snow flies.
As the gateway to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, and bordered on three sides by National Forests, West Yellowstone offers nearly limitless recreational opportunities to its visitors and residents alike.
The West Yellowstone Chamber of Commerce is the first stop if you are planning a visit to the area. The Chamber maintains a full list of events, lodging, shopping and dining choices. Each National Park also provide visitor guides and offer choices for families and individuals.
Getting to West Yellowstone is simple, the West Yellowstone Airport is just minutes from Town and is serviced by Sky West Airlines. Highway access from the north is via Highway 191, and from the west via Highway 20.
