Town Departments

The Administration and Finance Office is the central hub of the Town of West Yellowstone.  Services provided to the public from the Administration and Finance Office include utility billing and collection, business licensing, resort tax, TBID, and recreation fees collection. 

The West Yellowstone City Court is an independent branch of government, constitutionally entrusted with the fair and just resolution of disputes. The Court works diligently to efficiently and effectively accomplish the duties of the West Yellowstone Town Charter, the laws and Constitutions of the State of Montana and the United States. 

The Town of West Yellowstone is pleased to offer a year-round recreation program for residents and visitors.  Over the course of several years, a seasonal day-camp program for kids under 12 has grown into offering something for nearly everyone.

Public Services includes construction, operation, and maintenance of the Town’s infrastructure, which includes streets, sidewalks, buildings, parks, water/sewer system, and all other public places.

The West Yellowstone Police works closely with local residents, visitors and other law enforcement agencies to prevent and solve crime so that all can enjoy a high quality of life here in West Yellowstone.

The Job and Social Services Office provide a variety of services to both residents of and visitors to West Yellowstone. The office has resources to assist people with vital needs such as food, clothing, health care, and job referrals.
